Explore the Arts and Express Yourself
Ponce PTSA is proud to launch the National PTA Reflections Program for our third consecutive year! For over 50 years, this national initiative has supported arts education, helping Explorers across all grade levels build artistic literacy, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning. Ponce students have a fantastic history with Reflections, previously placing at both the state and national levels.
2026 Theme & Categories 🎨
This year’s theme is "What My Culture Means To Me!"
Students are invited to express their unique journeys by submitting original artwork in five categories:
Music Composition
Photography
Film Production
Literature
Dance Choreography
How to Get Involved

For Volunteers: We need 5–6 volunteers to form our Ponce PTSA Reflections Committee to help manage the program this year and beyond.

The First-Ever "Ponce Idol" Talent Show is coming soon!
Explorers, it is time to showcase your unique skills! Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, or have a unique act, all talents are welcome at the first-ever Ponce Idol Talent Show.
Event Date & Time: Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 6:30 PM
Location: Ponce de Leon Middle School Auditorium.
Mandatory Rehearsals: Monday, November 9 and Monday, November 16

Donut Challenge Leaderboard Update!
The updated Ponce PTSA Fundraising Campaign leaderboard is officially here, and the race is heating up! The homeroom in each grade with the highest percentage of donors will win a Doughnut Party for the entire class, plus a coffee gift card for their teacher.

Student Voices Needed Today!
For the Education Candidate Forum
The parent-teacher organizations of eight Coral Gables area schools, in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Council of PTAs/PTSAs, are hosting a non-partisan Candidate Forum on September 29, 2026, at 7:00 PM live on Zoom.
They are looking for elementary, middle, and high school students who want to submit questions for the Florida State Legislature candidates. Students can ask about any topic affecting Florida public education—including school funding, safety, AI/technology, mental health, curriculum, or career preparation. Selected students will get to ask their questions directly to the candidates during the virtual forum!
